This townhouse garden is split over three levels. Gabion retaining walls have eliminated what was a difficult slope and separate the two bottom levels.

The new gabions, log piles and bird boxes provide shelter for birds, hedgehogs, slow worms and other garden wildlife.

A diverse range of naturalistic planting provides nectar and pollen for different species of bees and other insects over a long period throughout the year.
